Dr. Green received her M.A. from York University and her Ph.D. from the University of Regina (2006). She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto, ON. She currently works as a Psychologist within the Women's Health Concerns Clinic and Consultation Liaison Services at St. Joseph's and is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.

Her current clinical interests include cognitive behavioural and mindfulness-based interventions for depression, anxiety, and health-related difficulties and conducting complex psychodiagnostic assessments. Current research involvement includes the development and implementation of a cognitive-behavioural based intervention for menopausal symptoms in women (within the Women's Health Concern's Clinic), developing and implementing a mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioural treatment program specifically designed to meet the unique needs of women with perinatal anxiety, and examining the effectiveness of a mindfulness-based intervention within a heterogeneous sample of adult outpatients. She has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at numerous professional conferences.
