Dr. Losier received his Ph.D. in 1999 from Dalhousie University, and completed his internship at Camp Hill Medical Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  He is currently a Staff Psychologist at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, where he directs the Central Neuropsychology Service at both the Centre for Mountain Health Services and the Charlton Site.  He is also assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.  His current clinical and research interests include attentional deployment in three dimensions, the impact of Electro-convulsive Therapy (ECT) treatment on long term memory function, and the neuropsychological characteristics of patients with treatment resistant Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).   He has published over ten peer reviewed journal articles and has given numerous presentations at professional conferences.
