Dr. Rowa is a psychologist at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. She is also the Associate Director of Training in the Psychology Residency Program at St. Josephs.  Her research is focused on evaluating cognitive behavioural models and treatments of the anxiety disorders, with a specific focus on obsessive compulsive disorder and social phobia. More specifically, she is interested in ways of improving the delivery and effectiveness of existing cognitive behavioural treatments for the anxiety disorders. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, invited chapters, and is co-author of two books.
